CubeKeep started because self-storage in the North West was either dated family yards with no website, or national chains who quote £140 a month then add £30 insurance you didn't agree to. We built CubeKeep to land in between: modern, transparent, family-run.

Why CubeKeep exists.

If you've ever rented a storage unit in Lancashire, you'll know the drill. The family-run yards are cheap and friendly but the website hasn't been updated since 2014 and you can't find a price without ringing. The big chains have slick websites but the real price arrives 20 minutes into a sales call, and it's never the one on the homepage.

CubeKeep is our answer to both. We're a family-run container yard in Darwen with the transparency of a modern product: every price on the homepage, no insurance forced on you, no 24-hour access "premium", no 4-week notice clawback. Sign up online, move in the same day.

What you can expect.

  • Honest prices.

    The number on our website is the number on your invoice. 10ft £95, 20ft £140, 40ft £220. Insurance is optional. Access is included. Padlock's your choice.

  • Modern kit, dated values.

    We run the yard like a tech product — PIN entry, online reservation, digital agreements. But we treat tenants the way a good family firm does: you'll speak to the same people every time.

  • Price locked 12 months.

    Your rate is fixed from sign-up for a year. No "first-year teaser rate" followed by a 40% hike. You can budget.

  • Local, serving local.

    Most of our tenants come from Darwen, Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, and Bolton. If you're 20 minutes away, you're in our catchment.

The yard.

CubeKeep's yard is 15 minutes off the M65 (Junction 4), so it's fast to reach from most of East Lancashire and North Manchester. 30+ containers, 24/7 drive-up, CCTV, gated PIN entry, perimeter fence, well-lit.
